The FACLT board holds monthly development sessions. This month Steve Watson of Middlemarch led on ‘Designing and Building Community Led Affordable Housing’. Steve’s presentation can be found on the link below :

Middlemarch is a local Community Interest Company which provides technical support to Community Housing Organisations. In Dorset and Somerset it provides ‘hub’ services to a wide range of community housing models. Steve has been advising FACLT since it was set up in 2019. 

Because of its involvement in the Fair housing Project the FACLT board was keen to learn more about the feasibility and planning work that happens before a site can be developed.
