Frome Housing Noticeboard

FACLT runs a Facebook group- the Frome Housing Noticeboard - which was set up to make it easier for anyone who is searching for, or advertising a place to rent, lodge or house-sit in Frome.

This group was been set to make it easier for anyone who is searching for, or advertising a place to rent, lodge or house-sit in Frome. It is not for buying and selling properties or debating housing issues.

If you are offering a house or room to rent please include the following details:
– Cost per month
– Length of tenancy/ house-sitting arrangement
– Number of bedrooms
– Garden/ outside space?
– Are pets allowed?
– Area in Frome or surrounding villages (eg. Central Frome, Keyford, Stonebridge, Nunney etc)
– Is this a private let or through a Letting Agent?
– Any other details that will help people searching for a home.

*Please note that any posts that are discriminatory, including excluding people on benefits, will be deleted

If you’re looking for a room/flat/house please be clear about your requirements:
– How many bedrooms you need
– When you need to move
– Whether you have pets
– Whether you need a garden
– Any other details that will help a prospective landlord match you to a suitable property

The success of the Frome Housing Noticeboard depends on users being clear and courteous in their posts and behaving in a considerate and responsible way. Abusive language or rudeness will not be tolerated, posts/members will be removed where necessary.

This is also not the forum for challenging rent prices. One of FACLT’s key areas of work is to make the private rented sector in Frome more accessible and equitable, which includes encouraging fair rent. However, we want to keep this page clear for adverts rather than discussion. If this is a topic that concerns you, please contact us to find out about and get involved in our work in this area.

If you are a landlord, please consider joining the Frome Renting Alliance.
