The housing crisis rumbles on with ever increasing costs of private rents, a lack of available rental homes and very little new social housing being built. We are aware of some ideas and plans in the town and some will require building on green spaces which usually results in multiple objections. Somewhere along the way we are going to have to accept that housing families in need, in well thought out new developments is a must. Social Housing is directly aimed at local people not those suddenly moving to Frome for the lifestyle or as an investment. There is a clear difference that needs to be taken into account.
