The lack of new social housing in the town is a big issue and the possibility that the large developers might try to reduce the number of affordable homes once a proposal has been accepted is always something we fear. The town doesn’t really need more traditional four bedroom large homes. The Frome Housing Needs Survey published late last year pointed clearly to the need for more one and two bedroom homes.
